“Welcome to the newest way to enjoy the best of illustrated fiction. Or, as we like to say, comic book stories.“
“Our short “Hyper Epics“–all of them a mere three pages long, but packed with excitement, heart and action–are a throwback to what comic book stories used to be–and can be again.
As a pretty fair country writer named William Shakespeare wrote in Hamlet, ‘Brevity is the soul of wit.’ If that’s true–and who are we to doubt the Bard–these tales you’re about to enjoy on this website may well be among the most clever and entertaining you’ve ever read.
At least we hope so. We’ve tried our best to entertain you in the most concise (and precise) manner we know. Now it’s up to you, Dear Reader. Let us know if we succeeded.
We won’t bore you anymore with this introduction. Wonderful excursions into fantasy await you. And we wouldn’t want this introduction to last longer than one of our stories, would we?

I was approached by the staff at Steinbronn + Co, so I can pen my thoughts on the anthology series, “Hyper Epics.” Hyper Epics is brought to us by Tom Hoover—the producer/publisher—and Thomas A. Tuna, the managing editor. Here’s some information on them:
“Author/Producer from NJ, Tom has an unending passion for the creative arts and all the possibilities that comes with it! Having produced award-winning films and published multiple books, Tom is keen on exploring new avenues to tell stories in an effort to inspire and energize others. Thomas A. Tuna:
“Industry veteran Thomas Tuna brings his talents to Hyper Epics as both a writer and managing editor. A natural storyteller with a keen feel for comic book craftsmanship, Thomas’s background in the industry goes back to the 1970’s – a time when comics were indeed epic.”
I took the time to check out the Hyper Epics website when I was on my lunch break at work, and what’s nice about these stories are that they’re all only three-pages long. This enabled me to read quite a few stories, and they range from drama, comedy, fantasy, horror, and science fiction. There’s a genre for everybody here, and a nice feature is that some stories come with music files, so the mood is escalated while reading these stories and listening to powerful instrumentals simultaneously.
The varieties of artwork make these comics fun to read and the (three-page) stories being told are set up nicely to have a start, middle, and an ending. This is what makes this anthology series so great, that the creative teams are able to accomplish this successfully.
Overall, what the creative teams have done over at Hyper Epics is amazing! I’ve never seen anything like this before, and each individual story is executed well. Like anyone else who’s read these stories, I have my favorites, but depending on your preference of genre, some stories will stand out more than others. Nicely done, this concept is well thought out, and these comics cater to just about anyone. As a whole, all stories included, I rate the “Hyper Epics” anthology website 4.9 out of 5 Geek-Heads!
